Gates Mills Ohio Baseball Field

Feller’s Field is a baseball field located in Gates Mills, Ohio, USA. It is named after the legendary Cleveland Indians pitcher, Bob Feller, who grew up in the area and played baseball on the field as a child. Feller’s field can be found at 7098, 7070 Gates Mills Blvd, Gates Mills, OH 44040.

Baseball Hall of Fame member Ted Williams called Feller “the fastest and best pitcher I ever saw during my career.” Hall of Famer Stan Musial believed he was “probably the greatest pitcher of our era.”

Today, Feller’s Field serves as the home field for the Gilmour Academy Lancers baseball team in City of Cleveland. The field is a regulation size baseball diamond and features a natural grass playing surface. It is a beautiful and well-maintained field that has a seating area for spectators.

In addition to being a great venue for high school baseball games, Feller’s Field also holds a special place in baseball history and is a beloved local landmark. The field has been used to host youth baseball tournaments and other community events. Its connection to Bob Feller and the history of baseball in the area makes it a special place for sports enthusiasts. Feller died at the age of 92 in 2010.

From Feller’s field, head northeast on Gates Mills Blvd toward W Hill Dr, turn right onto W Hill Dr, turn left onto Mayfield Rd, use the right lane to take the I-271 N ramp to Cleveland/Erie Pa, merge onto I-271 N, merge onto I-90 E, take exit 193 for OH-306 toward Mentor/Kirtland, use the left two lanes to turn left onto OH-306 N/Broadmoor Rd, continue to follow OH-306 then turn right onto Tyler Blvd, turn right twice toward St Clair Ave, sharp right toward St Clair Ave, turn right onto St Clair Ave, turn left twice, your destination will be on the right (Rhodes Security Systems).
