Residential and Commercial Security System Monitoring

We offer professional monitoring of security systems. We can set it up according to your preferences, so the monitoring can be done by us as a professional security company or by you as the owner of the property. There are many different types of security systems available and we make sure to choose one that is right for the property.

Security systems can be monitored in a number of ways:

  • CCTV, installed to get video coverage of key areas on property.
  • Alarm systems, which are often used to monitor residential properties, as they can be set up to notify the owner or the security company if there is an intruder.

Because we know that no security system is perfect and that there are always ways for criminals to bypass them, we work with you to install multiple layers of security in place. This includes physical security, such as locks and alarms, as well as digital security, such as firewalls and encryption. By having multiple layers of security, you can make it much more difficult for criminals to gain access to your property.

Residential Security Cameras: Closed-Circuit Television System (CCTV)

Residential security cameras are one of the best security devices ever invented for residential security. Apart from watching and inadvertently keeping your house protected, security cameras are available for both interior and outdoor use. Additionally, they frequently come with HD resolution as well as additional functions like two-way conversation, night vision, and mobile phone controls.

So do you need one? The answer to this question largely depends on how much protection you want to add to your residence or place of business. Without cameras, you can’t truly see what is happening at home. Even though sensors may detect motion and let you know when doors or windows have been opened or closed, cameras go much further in letting you verify exactly what is taking place in your absence or in the event of an alarm.

A residential surveillance system is a closed-circuit television system used to keep vigilance on a residential address. Residential surveillance systems can be as simple as a single camera to watch a single room or as complex as many cameras arranged in a grid pattern to monitor the whole home.

Residential surveillance systems take photos, record video and audio signals that are then sent to a network video recorder where they may be watched and recorded. A motion alert can also be sent via email, text message, or mobile app when security cameras detect movement in a particular area.

Home Fire Detection System

At Rhodes Security Systems, heat and smoke detectors are the two different forms of home fire detection systems we deploy. Smoke detectors are the main component of most basic fire detection systems. The standard suggests using heat detectors in addition to the typical smoke detector system but does not mandate their use as part of the primary protection plan. A smoke detector consists of a detection chamber, an alarm sounding mechanism, and a method of electrical power transfer. Ionization and photoelectric smoke detectors are the two varieties used in homes.

The presence of smoke will be ultimately detected by both detectors, but how they work differs. For example, the larger, visible smoke particles are detected by the photoelectric detector while the tiny, otherwise undetectable particles are picked up by the ion chamber detector. For this reason, it is best to use both kinds of detector in your detection system.

Customized Residential Security Services

These are security services that have been streamlined to fit the specific needs of residential buildings. They can be adjusted to provide more or less security, depending on the residents’ preferences. Some of the most common customized residential security services include:

  • Installing CCTV cameras
  • Installing special security monitoring systems
  • Setting up access control systems for screening visitors and delivery personnel

Residents can choose to have one or all of these services, depending on their budget and level of security desired. Customized residential security services provide peace of mind and protection for those who live in homes, apartments, and condos.

Home Automation and Smart Home Security

Count on us at Rhodes Security Systems for your home automation. Home automation is the utilization of technology to improve how well your house functions. Everyday equipment in your house may perform their functions automatically with the deployment of sensors, software, and wireless protocols. Door locks, lights, thermostats, plugs, and other devices may all interact with your smart home security system. Smart home appliances may be remotely managed from your smartphone, another smart device, or a programmed schedule. For instance, you may set up your smart devices to adjust the temperature and turn off the lights each morning when you leave for work and lock your entrance. Apart from the exciting features, the degree of security that comes with this system is tremendous. You have complete control over every device in your home, and you can even lock any intruder in until the cops arrive or prevent them from entering at all.

Wiring and Hardware Installation for Commercial Data Network, Audio/Video, Video Conferencing

At Rhodes Security Systems, we have the expertise to undertake wiring and hardware installation for commercial data networks and to ensure quality image and sound when setting up video conferencing. It is important to consider hiring a professional installer because poorly executed wiring and hardware installation can lead to problems with interference, crosstalk, and other audio/video issues that make it difficult to have a successful video conference.

Installation And Maintenance Of Security Systems

A lot goes into installing and maintaining a security system and this makes it critical to engage a professional security company like Rhodes Security Systems when deploying one. Installing a security system can be a bit of a process, but it’s worth it for the peace of mind it can bring.

Once your security system is installed, it’s important to keep up with its maintenance. This includes making sure the sensors are working properly, batteries are in good health, and that the system is armed when you leave your home. Maintenance also includes security system testing at regular intervals to make sure it’s still working as it should. Proper maintenance also includes keeping up with subscription for paid security monitoring.

Emergency Response Systems

The different types of emergency response systems are organized in such a way that they are able to provide the most effective response to an emergency situation. There are three different types of emergency response systems:

  • Pre-planned
  • On-scene
  • Post-incident

Emergency response systems include procedures and plans that are put in place so that everyone knows what to do in the event of an emergency. It also includes having the necessary supplies and equipment ready so that they can be used immediately.

When choosing an emergency response system, we make sure that it is designed for the specific type of incident that you are planning for and specific needs of your organization because no one-size-fits-all when it comes to choosing an emergency response system.

Commercial Security Systems

When it comes to protecting a commercial establishment, we offer a wide array of different commercial security system options to choose from. But with so many different products on the market, how can you safeguard your business without spending a fortune? That’s where we come in at Rhodes Security Systems. We are able to properly assess your business and find a reliable and affordable commercial security system that meets the specific needs of your business. Here are some things we consider when choosing a security system for your business:

  • Determine the size of your business and the type of security you need.
  • Choose a system that is expandable so you can add additional features as needed.
  • Make sure the system includes intrusion detection, video surveillance, and access control.
  • Ensure the system is easy to use and monitor.

When it comes to commercial security, there is no one-size-fits-all solution. The best way to find the right security system for your business is to work with a reputable security company like Rhodes Security Systems that can tailor a solution to your specific needs. We make sure to provide a blend of affordability and reliability, as we know that a comprehensive security system is an investment that will pay off in the long run.

Commercial Fire Systems

At Rhodes Security Systems, we can deploy a commercial fire system that consists of various components, including alarms, sprinklers, and extinguishers. Alarms are the first line of defense against fire. They detect smoke or heat and activate the sprinkler system or notify the fire department. Sprinklers are designed to control or extinguish fires. They are usually located in the ceilings and walls of buildings. Extinguishers are portable devices that can be used to put out small fires. They are typically located near exits, in hallways, or in kitchens. A fire system in a commercial establishment goes a long way to protecting lives and property. By having alarms, sprinklers, and extinguishers in place, you can be sure that your business is prepared for the worst. But these systems must be properly installed by a professional company like Rhodes Security Systems to be both functional, reliable, and up to code.

Commercial Access Control

Commercial access control systems can be used to control access to specific areas within a building. For example, some office buildings may have a separate area for executive offices that can only be accessed by employees who have the appropriate level of clearance.

Commercial access control comes in different varieties, from the simple keypad entry system to the more sophisticated biometric access control systems. There are many different types of commercial access control systems available that we can deploy for your business. You may want:

  • Keypad entry system
  • Biometric access control system
  • Card-based system

Keypad entry system uses a keypad to enter a code in order to gain entry into a building. Keypad entry systems are often used in office buildings, retail stores, and other commercial businesses.

Biometric access control systems use fingerprint scanners or iris scanners to identify individuals who are authorized to enter a building. These types of systems are often used in government buildings or other high-security facilities.

A card-based system uses swipe or proximity readers that require a preprogrammed card to be presented in order to gain entry. Each card can be programmed with a specific level of access to control who can enter each area of the facility.

When choosing a commercial access control system, it is important to consider:

  • The needs of your business: the type of business you have will dictate the type of system you need. For example, a small business may only need a simple keypad entry system, while a larger business may need a more sophisticated card-based system.
  • The level of security you need: If you are concerned about theft or vandalism, you may want to consider a system that includes cameras and alarm systems.
  • The cost of the system. Some access control systems can be quite expensive, and we perform a cost-benefit analysis to justify the solutions we provide.
